Castiglione di Sicilia
is a picturesque town and one of the most beautiful villages in Sicily.
In 2017 it was ranked at the 5th place of the list: “I Borghi piu belli” (The most beautiful villages of Italy).
Castiglione di sicilia is located at 621 meters altitude and is also known as the Citta del vino (City of Wine).

The main attraction of Castiglione Di Sicilia is the medieval castle “Castello del Leone” and its watchtower called “Cannizzu” which was split in two by thunder lightning.

Every year on the 10th of August, a wine festival named Calci Di Stelle is held.
Almost all wine producers from the surroundings gather in Castiglione and have their wine tasting event.
One buys a wine glass and can stop at every wine producers for tasting.
It is a big party with music, local food in the streets, wine producers and fireworks!
